Gartner predicted that by 2025, operational technology (OT) environments would be hijacked to harm or even kill humans. It is impossible that a piece of malware will make a server explode, but nowadays an attack on automation system of a power plant’s boiler can have fatal consequences.

To counter these emerging threats, IoTLab is evaluating OT security solutions from various vendors. We've also developed and tested our own solution, guided by Cisco Systems' design practice & recommendations. This architecture has been successfully implemented and validated across multiple global customers.
